'So I'm a old man here' said a man of 63. 'Yes sir you are!' I replied. 'this is an interesting country , in America ppl say that i'm still looking young where as here ppl say dt I'm old, interesting! very interesting!' said the man. he was none other than Prof Zeleny who accompanied me to Agra and Jaipur. this happened when we are on our way driving to Jaipur. its one of the memorable trips of my life for many reasons. It might be for traveling with foreigners or for stayin in an international hotel, or for seeing the taj on day time and taking a gud photo graph. What ever it might be its a special trip for me. we stareted on 27th feb and returned on 4th March. It has been a splendid one for me as I enjoyed each and every minute of touring. I was much impressed by the ppl who accompanied me rather than the places we went. though taj is considered as a wonder I somehow never appreciated it much. Regarding the city of Jaipur I hardly know abt it prior to this trip. As far as co-travelers are concerned they were so cordial and helpful ppl. I was very much honored to give a chance of traveling with them. Prof Zeleny had published abt 400 journal papers in management and Ms Olga is a business woman who won Eisenhower scholarship couple of times. Inspite of their credentials they were very much down to earth. their interest in learning the traditions nd customs of the country tells wt they really are. Seeing taj was very much a pleasant one and more importantly I got the pic which my buddy was asking me for quite a long time. we have seen the fort of sikri from which Akbar ruled the nation and started a new religion. It was the same fort in which Tansen has excelled and Birbal came to light. From Agra we reached Jaipur late in the evening and took rest in the hotel. Later the next day we went to see the Jaipur palaces. the rajputs are ferocious to make it a safer place also they were conscious enough to patronize the rich culture. One cant simply ignore the expertise which they showed in the field of arms and arsenals. the Jaivan which is the largest canon on the earth is worth a life. the mighty presence of the canon is enough to make the enemies into pieces(it was used only once!!). Regardin my stay at the international hotels it was a nice one coz i've never been to them earlier. I learnt a lot over there. some train journeys which I made along with some other foreign nationals are even more interesting(which cant be placed here). overall its a gud trip, rather a 'gr8 trip'
